One of the highlights of the conference was the participation of the director, producer and cast member Leo Minaya, 24, of the soon to be released movie, “How the Garcia Girls Spent Their Summer.” The movie is directed by Georgina Garcia Reidel, produced by Olga Arana and stars America Ferrera, of the hit television show Ugly Betty. The movie opens May 16.

One of the highlights of the day was the participation of author Barbara Trujillo Gomez, who presented a discussion called "A passion for living healthy."
